Stand up!

Emily is our little wonder girl. She has been working on walking and has come so far in the past year. She is starting to stand up all over the place. Two weeks ago I stopped by to see how she is doing at Bayfield on Fridays and she was zooming up and down the halls in her gait trainer. She is so fast! At home she'll walk all over the place if you get her to stand up and hold her hands. We're thinking about putting rails up and down the hallway to encourage her to stand up and walk. She loves being back at school and although we wish she was at her home school full-time, one day a week is progress. We hope that some day in the near future she will be able to attend her home school full time rather than going to another district for services. At least she is happy and doing well and that is a step in the right direction.
