We tried to get Emily to stand.
On Sunday Olivia and Emily celebrated their 7th birthday. It's hard to believe my little babies are growing up so fast. On Saturday Olivia and I went shopping and I realized how big she really is getting. We had a difference of opinion on a few outfits; I thought she looked cute, she thought she looked "stupid." At last we agreed on something, I just wasn't prepared for that eye opening experience. Who said she could grow up so fast?!!

Then we spent the rest of the day at the Recreation Center swimming as a family. Emily loved the BIG slide Daddy took her on. She had so much fun swimming with Daddy and Mommy. She practiced standing and even let go a few times and stood all alone! It was a great day! On Sunday we had a special dinner and cake and presents. (I sure wish my birthday could last 2 days!
I looked through some old baby pictures this weekend, they have changed so much and in so many ways. It makes me a little sad, but it is so fun to watch them grow and change!
This last pictures are of the newest member of the family. She has beautiful brown eyes that melted my heart when Kirk brought her home. I wasn't too thrilled about another little rug rat running around, but she looks so cute curled up at my feet right now. :) You guessed it, we have a puppy! She is a German Short Hair Pointer and looks a lot like Derf in her coloring. I would have to say this is the last dog for us, at least for a few more years!

Wow! Things have changed. That toddler picture is the way I remember your twins. I can't believe how they have grown, and all the miracles you must experience every day!

Time does fly doesn't it. I remember their baby shower like it was yesterday. I have very fond memories of Maryland and you, all of my wonderful friends. I love reading your comments! It's so fun to be able to keep in touch.
